The Lamplighter Monument is located at ulica Piotrkowska 37, inaugurated on September 21, 2007, for the centenary of the first city power plant.
It is a life-size bronze statue depicting an electrician/lighting attendant on a ladder leaning against a lamppost while changing a light bulb.
It was made to celebrate 100 years since the founding of the first power plant in Lodz.
