In 2005, a Holocaust memorial was inaugurated on the site of the former Radegast (Polish: Radogoszcz) railway station. Between January 16, 1942 and August 29, 1944, more than 150,000 Jews were transported from this train station to the Kulmhof and Auschwitz extermination camps. The memorial includes the wooden station building in which a museum has been set up, a true-to-life train of the Reichsbahn, tombstones and commemorative plaques, and a tunnel leading to a memorial erected by Czesław Bielecki in 2003 in the form of a crematorium-like tower with the inscription “ Thou shalt not kill”. This symbolizes the way to the extermination camps. Source: Wikipedia
