Gatakers Bay is beautiful and marks the northern end of the Hervey Bay Esplanade, tucked into the shoreline at Point Vernon. It’s a protected, popular spot with a boat ramp and fish-cleaning tables, and it’s often used for weddings and events thanks to its waterfront setting. This is also known as one of the best sunset spots in the area, so it’s well worth timing your visit to enjoy the view in the evening.
