The iron sculpture stands on the Lieser Kreuzberg, which is located near the sports field. The Lieser Kreuzberg is the center of the Hallenberg urban area. Werner Guntermann (Klosters) from Hesborn created an iron sculpture to honor this geographical center.winterberg.de/poi/eisenskulptur-zum-geografischen-mittelpunkt-hallenbergs/#:~:text=Die%20Eisenskulptur%20steht%20auf%20dem,Klosters)%20eine%20Skulptur%20aus%20Eisen.

The landmarks of the four districts of Hallenberg (Braunshausen, Hallenberg, Hesborn, and Liesen) mark the geographical center of the town.At the Lieser Kreuzberg, where the "Sauerland-Höhenflug" and "Hallenberger-Wanderrausch" hiking trails, as well as a feeder path to the Rothaarsteig, pass, a sculpture forged by Werner Guntermann (Klosters) adorns the geographical center of Hallenberg. The sculpture depicts the Hallenberg Parish Church, the Heidekopf Tower, the Hesborn Bollerberg Tower, the Lieser Chair, and the Braunshausen Chapel. The sculpture was erected in 2017; the inscription panels are currently (September 2024) unfortunately no longer legible.
