The origin of the Evangelical Church of St. Simon is a late Romanesque hall building from the 12th to the 13th century. In the 15th century was an extension of a three-sided closed choir room. After the church was partially destroyed by fire, it was rebuilt in 1718 in Baroque style. A coat of arms attached above the west portal reminds of the former estate family of Stammer. The entrance area contains two relief gravestones from the Renaissance period. They are dated to the years 1582 and 1584.
