Hiking
The historic town mill in Burg near Magdeburg (also known as the water mill on Breiter Weg) is one of the city's most striking technical monuments.
The stately, brightly plastered building with its large arched gateway is picturesquely located directly on a loop of the river Ihle. For centuries, the water mill shaped the artisanal and industrial development of the region. Today, the renovated building complex is a popular photo motif during city tours and primarily serves as a residential and commercial property in the middle of the historic city center.
