The huge bronze sculpture comes from the Polish-Austrian artist Andjé Pietrzyk. With a length of five meters and a height of four and a half meters, the sculptor created an impressive monument to Alexander the Great's Bukephalos. It is no coincidence that the sculpture has now been erected in Salzburg. Because in the knight's hall of the residence the legendary horse with his rider and conqueror was once painted by baroque master Johann Michael Rottmayr.
