Seebachwege.....

A beautiful circular route on the lake.

On the west side of the Hintersteinersee it goes on a narrow path with about 100 m ascent along the steep rocky slope.

From the parking lot, which is subject to a fee, follow the sign for the Seerundweg trail and walk below the Seestüberl on the narrow asphalt road along the northern shore of the lake. Below a beautiful farm, through lightly wooded sections, which always offer fantastic views of the lake. From the snack station a few meters back to a sign tree and here follow the sign Seerundweg on the right. Below a courtyard to the See-West sign tree (937m). Here turn left on the lake circular path in an easterly direction along the lake shore. Again and again there are beautiful views of the lake and the striking rock pyramid of the Scheffauer. At the signpost tree Hintersteiner See Süd/Bank, the path begins to climb a little and you reach a wonderful vantage point with beautiful views over wide meadows with beautiful courtyards. Then it goes slightly downhill via a rocky passage on the hiking trail secured with wooden railings and finally over a wooden bridge back to the parking lot on the eastern shore of the lake.

Nice shady path. Also very suitable for families. Great view of the Kaiser.

The paths around the Hintersteiner See are wide forest roads and easily accessible paths. Exposed sections are secured with railings.

This place invites you to rest and arrive. So many sunbeds available! Great view and many beautiful hiking trails!

The Seebach trails are a great way to explore the Hintersteiner See.
