Langstone Rock is a fascinating landmark at the northern end of Red Rock Beach between Dawlish Warren and Dawlish. The extraordinary cliffs started life as windblown, oxidized red desert sands laid down as dunes. If you are lucky, you may even see dolphins swimming in the waters around this area.

Great view, day or night. Be aware that the path up has seen better days and is really, really steep. I went down on my bum as I was on my own at night. Beautiful area, great connecting train line for easy forget-the-car holidays and seightseeing.

Take a torch for evening/low light walks.
