This is a great route up to Drum. On the way down you can see the Standing Stones by the Roman Road, and then follow the top of the valley that goes down to Llanfairfechan. It was a little tricky at first to pick up the route down from the Roman Road, all was easy once we picked up the way markers from the ancient sheep pens.

This loop has great views over the northern end of the Menai Straits. This loop is accessible from Aber Road, where there is lots of parking space (unlike Gwyllt Road, a fairly narrow lane)
