The station is located at kilometer marker 140 of the current route of the Vía Verde de Segura, very close to the border between the provinces of Jaén and Albacete. From this point, there are only about 1.5 km left to connect with the province of Albacete and continue along the Vía Verde de la Sierra de Alcaraz.
