Wallum Trail is a lovely route that runs through one of Karawatha Forest’s unique wallum habitats, with sandy soil that supports banksias, paperbarks, heath, and other plants that have adapted to nutrient-poor conditions. The gently undulating trail connects with several nearby tracks and is a great introduction to the diverse vegetation that makes Karawatha Forest ecologically significant.
