The Tellerhäuser Forsthaus, built in 1786, is the birthplace of the Tellerhäuser community. The community was founded here on April 5th, 1838, a memorial plaque reminds of it.

Hiking

In 1652, the Saxon Elector allowed a miner named Andreas Teller to build a house in the valley near the Bohemian border. Around the one 'Tellerhaus' settled more people and so it became the 'Tellerhäuser'. The name of the village has been preserved until today.

In Tellerhäuser there are various apartments, guest houses and even an inn.
