Real hard climb!! Especially since it was still raining here. When you get to the top, the distant view should make you forget everything that happened before. Here you are far away from mass tourism!

How the dewfish got its name:In the distant past, missionaries roamed the Ore Mountains. When they saw pagans sitting around their hearths on that hill, they immediately took action. Splashing holy water, they laid their hands on the heads of the "natives" and murmured the words, "I hereby baptize you!"There are still pagan hearths on this hill...

The baptismal font appears a bit inconspicuous at first glance, but is an absolute highlight. It is not immediately visible on hiking trails and thus gives something on its 1001m that is often missing: Peace! There is also a very nice view.
