The building is a half-timbered structure in the shape of an elongated octagon with a hipped roof. The facade is painted red with white lattice windows. A wall in the style of the 19th century was built around the church. The church was re-consecrated in 1976.
The church has wooden floors, brown wooden walls and a vaulted ceiling with light gray painted wooden paneling. The crosses, chandeliers and panels for the song numbers come from the previous church which burned down.

Hiking

Especially in winter when there is snow, the old church looks very romantic. Originally built in 1743 and completely burned down in 1972. Then rebuilt. outside as a reconstruction but inside in the colors of the Sami costume.

Hiking

The oldest church in Jokkmokk, built in the Sami style and entirely of wood. Part of the wooden fence has chambers where the dead were once stored during the winter until the ground thawed in the spring so they could be buried.
