Ascent from the Hotel Ammerwald (please do not park there because it is private) via the Schützensteig. Here you run relaxed and pleasantly shady. Then you come to a waterfall that is fed by the Pöllat. The forest opens up and you pass meadows with light trees. At the fork you would have the opportunity to stop in the Jägerhütte. This year it is closed because of C. We follow the path up to the crow. At the next wayside cross you can turn left (black) or right (red). We go around to the right, as there is sun all the time on this path. You can see marmots and chamois along the way. It is a little difficult up to the Roggentalsattel. There on the saddle we treat ourselves to a short break and then follow the path to the left to the Krähe. 5 minutes later (and after a little climbing) we come to the window. There it goes to the high plateau. In my opinion, the window has the shape of the African continent.

The Lion March! A sovereign event. Organized by Prince Ludwig of Bavaria, it's a 100 km march from Kaltenberg Castle through the night to Hohenschwangau Castle. The participants collect money for this, which supports the "learning lions" project in Kenya. From Kaltenberg it goes first to St. Ottilie. Then on via Uttting and Diessen to the fairy tale forest in Schongau. From Wessobrunn it is a long night to the Wieskirche. Then continue via Bayerniederhofen, past the Banbwaldsee to Hohenschwangau to the castle of the same name. The sunrise over the Ammertal was particularly beautiful.

A wonderful tour with mom and rollator through Xanten. The Krimhildmühle is one of the few mills in Germany that is in daily operation. St. Viktor's Cathedral is from the 8th century. The old Santen is mentioned in Niebelungenlied as the alleged place of birth of Siegfried. Xanten has been a climatic health resort since 2014. The heart of the spa park is the graduation tower with its soothing salty air.

Congratulations dear Holger. For me, unfortunately, my battery ended the award at 82 km. Where it got particularly interesting. 😄 great performance, especially in the weather
