    Hiking

Deep in the New Forest stands The Stag Tree, a majestic ancient oak that has been rocking the "stag-headed" look for centuries!
"Stag-headed" is just a fancy woodland way of saying its topmost branches have died back, leaving behind a crown of bare, bleached wood that looks exactly like a massive set of deer antlers poking out of the leaves.

It’s essentially nature’s ultimate cosplay! While it might look a bit spooky, this 400-plus-year-old rebel is actually thriving, giving local beetles and woodpeckers a luxury penthouse to hang out in.
