The Kim Corbiere-ba Memorial Medicine Garden was established in the 2019-2020 school year at the M’Chigeeng First Nation Campus of Kenjgewin Teg. The garden grows the four sacred medicines of the Anishinaabe - Tobacco (Semaa), Cedar (Giizhik), Sage (Mshkwodewaashk), and Sweetgrass (Wiingaashk) - as well as annual plants and shrubs.
The garden is a tribute and remembrance of a staff member and serves as a place for reflection and connection with nature and Indigenous traditions.
