The M'Chigeeng Lookout is located on the rugged cliff edge of the Niagara Escarpment with a clearly visible sign of the place in the valley. The view extends from Mindemoya Lake in the southwest to West Bay in the North Channel of Lake Huron. In the town, Highway 540 is clearly visible; the road runs across the island from Meldrun Bay in the west to Little Current in the northeast, where the island is connected to the mainland by a former railway bridge.
