Gravel riding
The Kalka near Winsen (Aller) is a former gravel extraction area with several clear gravel pit lakes in the middle of nature. The area is well-suited as a short detour on a tour through the Südheide. Particularly popular are the quiet paths, the view of the water, and the wooded surroundings. Many use the Kalka as a small stopover or for a break by the water. Swimming is not officially permitted there.
