Originally, the Meißendorfer ponds were created as fish ponds meanwhile it is a nature reserve in which many sometimes rare waterfowl such. the white-tailed eagle, reed warbler, bittern, lapwing, kingfisher, crane, periwinkle, gullard, water rail, reed warbler, grebe, cormorant, red-crested pochinella, barn owl, even the black-headed gull, marsh harrier, bleak rattle, shoveler, sparrow hawk, red kite, and black stork have their breeding ground here.

The Rundwwg is about 6 km long. You can use it without paying. The paths are very natural, according to uneven but beautiful.
