Great cycle track very close to the lake.

Very exciting route. You can always recommend.

A beautiful, finely carved wooden architecture

Look at the gate once more and you can not get out of amazement.

Everything written. Very nice way.

Here lived the author of the "bee Maja".

Less urban, more varied and quieter than the west side. Many direct shore access and nice rest / Refreshments.

The east bank of the lake with its great villas is the most beautiful side of the lake for me

Memorial Chapel St. Ludwig. Also called votive chapel. It was built in memory of King Ludwig II of Bavaria.
Below the lake is the cross in the water. It marks since 1887 the place where King Ludwig was found dead in the water.

The east side also has its charms.

Very beautiful tour, but one must be prepared with good physical condition (4-5 hours cycling), water, nutrition and emergency kit.
Definitely worth it.

There are countless possibilities for a little bath in between.

For swimming, take shoes with you.
Very many stones in the water. And you have to go far.

For me the better side for cycling.

Very quiet, little traffic because only residents can drive there.
