The TV tower near Letzau, officially mostly referred to as Sender Letzau or Funkübertragungsstelle Theisseil 1, is a striking landmark in the Oberpfalz. It is located on the 633-meter-high summit of the Fischerberg, directly on the route of the well-known Goldsteig long-distance hiking trail.

Technical data and construction
Type: This is a standard tower of the former Deutsche Bundespost (now Deutsche Funkturm).
Height: The tower is a total of 120 meters high.
Construction: It is made of reinforced concrete and follows the characteristic design of telecommunication towers from the 1970s.
