The Steinberg Tower is definitely a highlight when the weather is nice. Located on the northern edge of the Harz, it is only a stone's throw from Goslar. Hiking

From the Steinberg Tower you have a wonderful view of the Granestausee, the Rammelsberg and the Harz foreland. It was built in 1888 and is 471 meters above sea level.

There is one of the two stamping points for the Harzer hiking pin 111. You can find the second on the Steinbergalm.
