Cycling through here is really an experience in itself. No traffic jams, no rush - while the cars queue up, you just glide past on two wheels. The flag proudly rises at the Albanian border control, and right behind it the old, slightly faded "Hellas" sign awaits you. Here you get a feeling of history and the present at the same time - the EU symbol waves over the border while you admire the hills in the background.Crossing the border was easy and pleasant. Especially in October, when there is little traffic, you can enjoy the landscape and the fresh air in peace. The border station itself looks a bit old, but that is precisely what gives it a certain charm.

In the direction of Greece, shortly after the Albanian border control, you will pass a somewhat outdated EU sign "Hellas".
