Tips

  • Thomas 🖤💚

Playa de Bollullo is one of the most beautiful natural beaches in the north of Tenerife. This dark sandy beach is located about four km east of the tourist center of Puerto da la Cruz in the administrative district of La Orotava.

Bollollu, paradise so close to Puerto, small bay but rarely overcrowded. Easily accessible on foot via a good path between the banana plantations. Please get idyll, does not mean always driving up by car otherwise fields will eventually become asphalt. The trend is already there. Lifeguards guard the treacherous bay with its undercurrents. Please do not risk yours and his life through swimming evidence.
I would like to add to Deborah: is a small Box: 1 cook (good) max. 1 service, 10 tables. Means: Demanding "ordered, where's the food" or holding glasses for hours because sand doesn't run so sandy. On such a day there may be a tourist swatter. You were unlucky.

Beautiful black beach in a bay with steep slopes. Also accessible by car (paid parking). In the beach we were unfortunately treated very rude and are gone again.

No secret anymore, as it likes to be portrayed, but still (on weekdays) a relatively quiet spot. If you come for a swim, it makes sense to learn about the tides. The red flag must be taken seriously because of the strong current and should only go in with running water.
