The monumental mural “Bad Hair Day" (often simply referred to as “Medusa") by British street artist D*Face. It was created in 2022 as part of the 7th International Street Art Festival Patras (ArtWalk 7).
D*Face reinterprets the mythological figure of Medusa in his characteristic pop art style. Instead of menacing snakes, the artist sees a tragedy in the story of Medusa, a figure traditionally portrayed as vengeful and monstrous. With his work, he wanted to create a modern, more human version that leaves the viewer room for their own interpretations.
