The Ottoman era (about 1600 AD) Aqueduct was rediscovered and partially moved during the construction of the Patras short perimeter ring road. This section is in its original place, three other arched have been transferred a few hundred meters to the Roman bridge archaeological site on the opposite side of the new perimeter highway.
