This is very challenging but superb cobbled climb nestled in the hills around Halifax. Numbered #40 in the 100 greatest climbs of the UK it featured in the 2017 Tour de Yorkshire. 25% at it's steepest assuming you take the wider line around it's two wicked bends this is not to be taken lightly, but if tough challenging steep climbs are your thing then it is a must!

Better know as Shibden Wall. One of the hardest climbs around Halifax, up there with Trooper Lane. Steep all the way and mostly cobbled. A camera moto didn't make it round the hairpin the first time it featured in the Tour de Yorkshire!

'Shibden Wall — it’s so tough that the riders of the 1988 Kellogg’s Tour (Sean Kelly, no less) climbed up on the pavement, resulting in a satisfying Mexican wave of spectators pirouetting off the asphalt and onto the cobbles to watch the thin line, featuring Joey McLoughlin and Yvon Madiot, ride up to the summit. Just like Belgium.'

I agree with the above and I may not have cycled all of it.....
