Very nice car-free connection between the marina on the Datteln-Hamm Canal in Bergkamen and Unna. Crosses the Sesekeweg in the east of Kamen.

Still officially blocked at the beginning. Redirect isn't great.
Where it is open, many of the benches along the really beautiful bike path are dilapidated, smeared or otherwise unsightly. Too bad.April 8, 2020
A solid railway line that will hopefully soon be improved even further. Nevertheless, the route enables a car-free north-south connection for cyclists.

The railway cycle path is not signposted and therefore a map, or even better an outdoor app, is suitable.
