You can also obtain extensive information during a spontaneous visit to the earth station.
- There are display boards from the support association on the central building, which provide an overview of the history, technology and current status of the system.
- Directly opposite these panels you will find two small mirrors (2 meters in diameter) on the meadow, 40 meters apart. If someone speaks quietly into one mirror, the person standing at the other mirror hears it. You can have a good conversation. The system clearly shows how the large antennas work. Fun for the whole family.
