Štiavnický Nácko is one of the most recognizable figures in Banská Štiavnica. The sculpture depicts a local original from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries – Ignác Schön, nicknamed „Nácko“, who was famous for his elegant attire, top hat, and excessively polite bows to the ladies strolling through the town.
The bronze figure was erected in the town center in 1997. The statue shows Nácko leaning out from a building corner with a characteristic smile and a hat in his hand. He has become one of the most photographed symbols of Banská Štiavnica.
