Gravel riding
There are several opportunities to stop and admire the Wietzesee lake along the indicated route. The idea of following the gravel pit workers' paths (which are not blocked from this side) and then crossing the Wietze at the gravel pit's entrance should be avoided, as the path is blocked by a gate at this point, at least outside of operating hours, and the surface is too loose for most gravel tires.
