Hiking
The Storbron (Great Bridge) was built on the site of a natural ford across the Svartån River. A bridge of some kind existed there as early as the Middle Ages. In 1718, a large wooden bridge was constructed, which was replaced by the first stone bridge in 1791. In November 1881, the city council decided to build a new bridge, wider than the old one and in a slightly different location. Stone quays were built alongside the bridge. The new bridge was opened to traffic in September 1884.
