The most famous residential building designed by Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona is Casa Batlló, completed in 1906, which is considered a masterpiece of Catalan Modernism and a UNESCO World Heritage site. From a construction history perspective, the building fascinates with its curved, organic facade featuring bone-like columns, shimmering ceramic mosaics, and a scaly roof reminiscent of a dragon's back. In addition to this architectural landmark on Passeig de Gràcia, Gaudí also used a residential building in Park Güell as his personal residence from 1906 onwards, which today documents his life and work as a museum.
