This Highlight goes through a protected area

Please check local regulations for: Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio - Nationalpark Stilfser Joch

Tips

  • Anni

Flowing roller coaster with a few jumps (S1). Those who prefer it to be more technical, rooty and rocky - quasi more natural trail - are better served with the Tarscher Alm Trail (S2).

.. we are in good weather started in Naturns and ramped up from shady NEN forest path, which was described as moderate and even in the increase (14 km with about 1,200 altitude difference) on the last quarter, the slope has, however, clearly attracted 😬 so, bißle You should already have condition 🚵🏻♀️
Anyone who loves to ride Uphill 🚵🏼 can also lift up directly with a chairlift.
The Barbarossa Trail is quite flowig, but has a few challenging passages - for pure beginners, I would not recommend the trail!
You can find our complete tour of Naturns here komoot.de/tour/85195255
    Website Tarscher Alm Trails mountainbiker.it/vinschgau/tarscheralm-trails.php
P.S. if someone wants to follow us, we went down the first time down a section (photo Barbarossa Trail wood panel) and because it was so much fun with the chairlift again high and driven down from the top 🚵🏼 the last section was closed because of forest work ⛔️ so I know how many ned trail we have missed 😌
Incidentally, we ate very well at the LatscherAlm 😋

On the wide meadow with grill station and Heiligenhäuschen it goes on to the valley station ....

A trail that is really fun. It was thought through, built through the forest and is constantly being adapted and improved. Jumps are built in, but you can also avoid them. The more often you have driven it and thus know it better, the more fun it is.

A great trail. It's really fun to drive it. Only the last bit back to the lift is not really exciting.

Shortly below the Tarscher Alm is the entry point of the Barbarossa Trail. That really makes you happy. Well built and shaped, it usually winds its way through the forest. It only leads briefly over a clear forest aisle.

A great trail that was built with a lot of effort through the forest. Numerous drops and jumps paired with berms and Northshore elements make it quite special.

Varied, flowing trail with many berms and a few northshore elements. There are also some jumps that can be rolled over. Suitable for beginners, but not a marble run and in places quite demanding of concentration. Basically a great trail for everyone :-) if you want it more technical, you should look elsewhere.

    Super flowy, really cool.

As of June 2019: After the marked section, a storm has to be diverted via the hiking trail. This is very rough.

Nice trail, but it's tough. Locals say he's flowing - I can't quite sign it

Very nice flow. In some places it will be difficult because it is very washed out. After a longer dry season it is very dusty and the neighboring areas offer little grip. So here, too, caution is advised.
