Hiking
The water tower on Borkum, also known as the Watertoorn, was built in 1900. Inside the historic tower is the Water Museum, which is dedicated to the history of water supply on Borkum. Visitors can climb the tower and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire island from the top. At each station inside the tower, short films explain interesting details about Borkum's groundwater system and the tower's function.
