Among Evingern, this body of water is only known as the "Rehtränke" (naturally formed). It was "deepened" over the years of mining. Somehow everything is connected to the Holthausener Bach. The Holthauser Bach is approx. 4 km long river and flows into the Emscher. It used to be very rich in fish.
