Greve in Chianti is one of the bigger places in the Chianti area. Therefore also quite touristically developed.
Piazza Matteotti, the main square in the town, has an interesting, triangular shape. All around are pretty houses with restaurants, cafes and small shops. Wine and olive products are available in many ways.

Greve in Chianti (the country linked to two great navigators such as Amerigo Vespucci and Giovanni da Verrazzano) is in a strategic position to visit the Chianti area and the nearby cities of Florence and Siena as well. The B & B "Grano e Lavanda", in the historical center of Greve, is a great stay for its warm atmosphere and the cordiality of the managers.
