The temple construction was started by two monks back in 1964. The model and namesake of the pagoda was the 11th century Vĩnh Nghiêm Pagoda in Đức La Village. This also is the first temple in Vietnam that is built from concrete, but in traditional vietnamese style.
The Quan The Am tower is 7 floors / 40m high.

When entering the temple grounds there is a beautiful stone tower to the right. It has carvings of dragons, lions, some calligraphy.
