At Nedlitz and around the town of Möckern (Anhalt), battles took place in April 1813 for which a memorial stone was erected in Nedlitz and a memorial wall was erected outside the village on the former battlefield. There are also large explanatory boards on the battlefield.
For the 1871 fallen Paul Simon is another panel in the church. This is hardly to decipher, it is probably a memorial plate from the former family grave and indicates that this carrier of the Iron Cross was and the only son of the local pastor Wilhelm Simon.
On the tombstone of the Heinrich family there are further names "in memory" which could be post-war victims: Hermann Heinrich, geb. 14.10.1897, died 1946 and Ilka Heinrich, geb. 26.06.1925, died 27.01.1946.
