The Gutskapelle Pöthen is a chapel, which has only survived as a ruin, in the village of Pöthen, which today belongs to the town of Gommern.
The single-nave church was built in 1695 as a chapel for the neighboring, built in 1587, estate of field stones in Gothic form. Builders were Adrian Johann von Förder and Anna Maria von Alvensleben. In 1855, the building was restored. For unknown reasons, the slate roof of the chapel was removed after 1945. The building then fell more and more. Today only the outer walls are preserved.
