    Hiking

Take your time! In the huge lava field you can climb for hours and discover the most insane shapes. Caves, towers and 3D puzzle-like stones make the explorer's heart beat faster. If you look closer, you will find green crystals (maybe olivine), quartz and glossy inclusions. The lava flow is part of the Lunar Crater volcanic field and about 1.8 million years old. You can find some more about the volcanic history right here: nbmg.unr.edu/scienceeducation/earthcaches/BlackRockLavaFlow.html
