From the Hiroshima Orizuru Tower, you have a fantastic view of the memorial, Peace Island, and, weather permitting, a stunning sunset. Entrance fees are quite high: 2300 yen for those planning to stay longer, while those who decide to visit on the spur of the moment pay less. If you're not interested in seeing the sunset but simply want to admire the nighttime scenery, arrive later in the day. There's a wire mesh around the building to protect against birds, but if you have long arms, you can take pictures without the mesh.
