Excellent panoramic view to Merano and the Adige Valley, beautiful panoramic terrace very good South Tyrolean food. Also accessible by car.

The Gasthaus Lipp is definitely worth a detour! Even though it's still a 20-30 minute walk from Perdonig, the detour is worth it. For good walkers, it's even a good alternative if you're hungry and realize that everything is already full in Hocheppan: 40-60 brisk minutes of walking on the 2B (really steep) with very good South Tyrolean food and a fantastic view over the Etsch valley and up Jenesien and Bolzano rewarded.
