The Islamic Center and Mosque in Živinice, known as the Central City Mosque, is the central religious and cultural facility in the city, located next to Sebilj on the city boulevard, with a characteristic dome and tall minarets. Although still under construction (begun in 1995), it is used for prayer, has a fountain for ablution, and a mekteb for children.

The central city mosque in Živinice is a unique building with two 52-meter-high minarets and a copper-covered mosque dome. Although the construction of the entire facility (the Islamic Center) is not completed, its most important part, the place of prayer, is in operation, and this space can accommodate up to 300 worshipers.
