THE MEADOW
It belongs to no one, and therefore to me.
By the fence stands a secret tree where the wind also lives.
Flowers embroider the grass, and by the ditch there are often traces of an animal that once lived there.
Sometimes homesickness overwhelms you, then the silence overtakes you.
When you sing, it passes.
Nobody knows what I do there, perhaps I'm enchanted by that ununderstood meadow.
