A walking path in the Hochter Bampd nature reserve on the eastern side of the Wissenplas lake is separated from the Meuse River by only this narrow strip of path. The river flows gently here, sometimes more turbulently, past the wild area with Konik horses and Galloway horses on this (Belgian) side. Be sure to leave the path occasionally, as you are free to roam here.
