The building, "Alte Schmiede", built in 1825, is an important cultural asset with a unique selling point in Uhingen. The antique blacksmith's workshop on the ground floor, which is authentic and equipped with antique tools, is still functioning today. Like a small museum, it serves as a meeting place for blacksmith friends and art lovers and is used again for demonstrations, training, seminars and courses.
