This trail is a moderately challenging loop that weaves along the lake and through a beautiful poplar forest. Around the halfway point, you climb a small hill that offers a nice elevated lookout over Candle Lake. The trail can be muddy, especially near the shoreline, so it’s a good idea to wear waterproof shoes.
